Andy Hamer started training in Tang Soo Do in 1994. Martial Arts training had always been a calling, and he was very fortunate that a Moo Duk Kwan studio existed in Northwest Montana.
Ten years later it became his certified studio, as his original instructor retired. Having attained National Certification while still at the rank of Cho Dan, at this time it was still beyond his comprehension, or realization, of the value of the Moo Duk Kwan. Yet over the years, Hamer Sa Bom Nim has developed into a true leader in Region 8.
Some of Hamer Sa Bom Nim’s fondest moments in his Ryu Pa experience have been testing for Kyo Sa on a National level in 2007, having his father join as a visitor at the Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa in 2012, and teaching at a National event in 2025.
The current pinnacle of his connection with the Art and membership is to have had a student test for O Dan. What rewards are to follow, well, let us share that from inside out to you and yours!
